Über den Wettkampf
Around the Rocks is the oldest organized ocean swim in Cape Town. The event takes place in the waters of Big Bay, where participants swim around the rock islands. The exact distance of the route is determined by the size of the swell, with an average water temperature typically ranging between 12 and 15 degrees Celsius.
Anreise
Aeroporto: Cape Town International (CPT), a 25km. Non ci sono treni diretti per Bloubergstrand; si consiglia Uber o noleggio auto dall'aeroporto (30 min via N1/R27). Il sito è accessibile in auto con parcheggi pubblici lungo Marine Drive. Per i ciclisti, la zona è ben servita da piste ciclabili costiere.
