Course

Course located in the Nile River, in the Philae Temple area. Start and finish at the Aro Kato Hotel. Distances range from 500m to 8km. A safety buoy is mandatory for all participants. Refreshment stations are provided for the 4km and 8km races. The course is a circular route around the Philae Temple.

How to get there

Aswan International Airport (ASW) is 20km away. Aswan railway station is located in the city center. For the race venue, local taxis or Uber are the most efficient modes of transport. Car rental is not recommended due to chaotic traffic; parking is limited at accommodations along the Nile. Primary travel is by land or via traditional boats (feluccas).
