About the race
Swim4Dreams - Open Water Festival is a large-scale sports and charity event, now in its second edition, which transforms Călărași into the capital of endurance swimming. The festival takes place over four days, utilizing two main locations: the Călărași Tourist Leisure Port and the Siderurgic Canal.
Beyond the open water swimming competitions, the event has a noble purpose: raising funds for the construction of the 'Casa de la Călărași', a recovery center for children with disabilities. The atmosphere is vibrant, including live concerts, Kendama competitions, and a fireworks display, bringing together athletes from Romania, Slovenia, and the Republic of Moldova under the aegis of swimming legends such as Martin Strel.
