About the race
Peru Swimmers organizes open water crossings and events that connect swimmers with the Peruvian coast, promoting safety, professionalism, and community. With over 50 events held and a network of more than 86 sports clubs, the organization seeks to strengthen sea swimming as both a sporting discipline and a lifestyle.
The community is diverse, integrating swimmers from 14 to over 70 years old, including students, professionals, and high-performance athletes. Events are conducted under strict safety protocols, featuring signaling buoys, support kayaks, jet skis, and coordination with the Policía Nacional del Perú, the Unidad de Salvataje, and the Marina de Guerra del Perú.
