Course

3.6 km open water course starting at Playa La Grama and finishing at the Balneario de Tortugas, Casma. The route is supported by 8 boats (chalana) with flags positioned every 500 meters for navigation and safety. Schedule adjustments may occur based on weather conditions, swell, and visibility.

How to get there

Nearest airport: Trujillo Airport (TRU), approximately 160 km away (3 hours). Alternatively, Lima (LIM) is 370 km away. From Trujillo or Lima, take interprovincial buses (e.g., Cruz del Sur) to Casma. For Playa Tortugas, use local taxis or mototaxis (15 min from the town center). Parking is available at the beach.
