Where to stay
Marsalforn offers a selection of boutique hotels overlooking the harbor, alongside traditional apartments and family-run guesthouses. For a more immersive experience, there are several holiday homes situated within walking distance of the bay. Prices typically range from €80 to €180 per night, depending on proximity to the water and the level of amenities. Early booking is recommended, as the town's compact size leads to limited availability during race weekends.
Things to do nearby
Beyond the water, Gozo is best explored through its rugged topography. Visitors often favor trekking the coastal trails toward the Għajn Barrani cliffs or renting kayaks to explore the sea level caves of the Għasri Valley. The island is also home to ancient archaeological sites, including the Ggantija temples, and offers a distinct culinary scene featuring local salt-cured delicacies and regional wines. The nearby villages provide a quiet contrast to the activity of the bay, with opportunities for cultural tours and tastings of local Gozitan produce.
